The Process
We take an eco-friendly and ethical approach from picking out our material to packaging orders.

Materials
Our selected wood choices are rubber wood and monkey pod wood also known as Malaysian Oak.
Rubber wood is considered an eco-friendly wood as it makes use of plantations trees that have already served a useful function. It is also known for its antibacterial qualities and natural heat resistant properties.
Monkey Pod Wood is a sustainable hard wood tree known for its rot and decay resistant qualities. Due to its dense interlock grain, the wood does not absorb moisture making it an ideal choice for kitchenware.
Artisans
We have carefully selected and partnered with a family ran artisan business out of Thailand. From treating the wood to carving pieces, the artisans take pride in keeping the natural color and properties of each piece. All of their wood treatments are house made, promising a wholesome result to both the wood and those using our products.
